Board and Train (3 weeks)

Service Description

The great thing about a board and train program is you don't have to start at ground zero with training your dog. All the hard work is done, you just have to maintain and I will go through the follow through steps with you! This 3 week program where your dog learns self control and boundaries. Those 2 things are a part of most of what I teach. Dashing out of doorways is part of learning both, as well as "leave it" command. Dinning off the counter (if you have a counter surfer) is a part of those too! Going to a designated area as a "bed/place" with a stay command is part of self control. I work one on one with your dog so I only take on a few dogs at a time, so I can dial in on things that are a struggle for him/her. I teach your dog how to walk calmly on a leash and teach recall with remote collar training work so even at a distance you can reach out and in a sense touch your dog. This remote collar comes with the program. I know it's hard to leave your pup, they are a part of your family, so I send out updated videos every week so you are always part of the progress! How this program works is we would talk over the phone make sure this is a program that would work for your pup. If so you would drop your pup off to me. I would need rabies shot records and making sure you bring at least 3 weeks worth of dog food as well. Your pup would be a part of my pack, in my personal home and interact with my guys as well. You would get updated videos along the way. At drop off I'd grab all your info from you and we would set up a date and time for you to be available to come pick her/him up! Yes that is always an exciting day for everyone!
